I remember earlier this year or maybe late last year that Jerome announced that he was no longer a member of the band. But, when I saw that all the "original band members" were doing the Vegas show I assumed Jerome would do it. But the Essence festival review has got some guy named Sylvester as Valet? Someone help me out here....

Here's the deal. Late last year, Jerome left "Morris Day and The Time" because he was going to be a part of the Family reunion instead.

The reunited band announced a few weeks ago that they will be doing shows in Vegas, yes including Jerome.

And as far as the review goes, i've asked a few different way for the person that does those to differentiate between "The Time" and "Morris Day and the Time" because it's confusing as fuck but apparently he doesn't give a crap.

So there you go. Vegas shows? Jerome. Shows billed as "Morris Day and the Time", no Jerome. and no good.

I'm going to have to agree with ButterscotchPimp and say it would be nice if the live show reviews threads were separated into "The Time" and "Morris Day and The Time".

Hey guys....thanx for clearing that up....no need to fight....just found it strange that a show labeled Morris Day and The Time without Jerome happened so close to the Vegas gigs....I guess it was booked alot farther in advance maybe. Anyway, I think Morris should not do anymore shows without the original line up ever again. I certainly wouldn't go.

The only shows that Jerome and the other original members are doing right now is Vegas and Leno. If anything else comes of it, it will be announced. if it is not, assume its the other version of the band

I've been doing these review for 12 years, They have always been done this way and I will continue to do them this way. The line up is always listed and if someone only wants to read about the original band they can always stop reading
