Jesse Johnson's version of (Boys are) Back in town

The other day I saw the ending of another 48 Hours staring Eddie Murphy and while rolling the credits the song (Boys are) Back in town by the Bus Boys starts playing. No big deal since it is from the original movie.

Then a wack version of the same song comes on but with a very familiar voice. It sounds just like Jesse Johnson. And sure enough in the credits it actually is Jesse Johnson.

I never knew he did a version of this song. And after hearing it, I wish he never did.

Has anyone else ever heard this version????

Yep! I've heard it. What exactly didn't you like about? I thought it was ok as far as covers go.

I guess I just expected more since it was Jesse Johnson. It seemed to me that all the melody was taken out replaced by hip-hop beats.
