Do the current npg know the most songs??

the setlist changes during the main shows were impressive but the aftershows were something else!

someone did a list of all the songs playyed and it was over 150!!

then theres all the sngs they played in vegas, then some tamar ones...etc.

was there any over line up that played as many different songs?

I think this lineup and the lineup from 2002 - 2004 were pretty well-rounded. They knew so many songs and could play almost anything by ear. If u read the ONA live Booklet, you would see that they played LOTS of covers either at afterparties or during the show.

When u think about it, most professional musicians CAN play ANYTHING. Look at bands like the Showtime at the Apollo OR the American Idol band (which used to be on Showtime at the Apollo) could play virtually anything....and well.

I don't know. A lot of people have slated the current band but that's bullshit in my view. If you're in Prince's band you need some serious chops for sure.

He wouldn't just play with anyone. If you want proof of his bands ability you only need to hear some of the aftershows from last summer. As far as the rhythm section goes check out the power trio gig. He wasn't onstage on his own!
