Charles Orr Film A rough cut of the promo is up on YouTube and principal photography starts back up this summer with a return to the Twin Cities.
http://www.youtube.com/wa...-oRtwi5Ie8 I'm once again asking for any and all help trying to track down the instruments Charles Orr made for Prince. So far my research indicates that Prince still owns one of Charlie's instruments. I realize this is a long shot but I am hoping that someone in Prince's entourage will still have a soft spot in their heart for the man who opened his doors to Prince when he was still a relative unknown, the man who made his very first custom guitars. I've started to receive some funding and it looks like I'll be able to make this a proper film after all. Prince's devotion to Charlie's craftsmanship had a great effect on Charlie throughout the rest of his life. http://deepfreezevideo.com/orr.html http://deepfreezevideo.com/Prince1.jpg Thanks for listening, Jeffery Haas 972-709-7945 landline 972-352-3645 cell

Too bad this thread didn´t get many posts. I really would have loved to read more about Mr. Orr, and I have always found it quite odd that he never got mentioned as much as Jerry Auerswald or the other guy who made the Cloud ( don´t remember his name off the top of my head, I mean that guy named Husen or something like that).
I wonder why Prince never used more Orr guitars or why Mr.Orr kind of disappeared in the Prince fan community. Apart from a few mentions in Nielsen´s books, I have never read much about him. That´s an interesting project, and I wish you lots of success with it. Mr.Orr deserves it. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
