[Edited 4/6/08 15:56pm] I was the "Lynn from NJ" who got thru. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

[Edited 4/6/08 15:56pm] I was the "Lynn from NJ" who got thru. Okay, I heard you on there. I believe your call was the only one they actually had time to broadcast. I heard the whole interview even though DuNoiss stated that part of it stopped streaming at some point. Morris did mention "touring" though, maybe it will include the East Coast some day, and at this point, that's a big "maybe".. DuNoiss also stated he would have a taped version of the interview up later. [Edited 4/6/08 16:12pm]

Hi babynoz, Yes they apparently has some technical difficulties in the beginnning of the show connecting, and I agree with you that Mr. Hayes does seem to be a very humble and cool person.

Sometimes we get to meet people we admire, and when we do we do get a little nervous. That's just the way it is sometimes.
Well, I was shaking when a friend introduced me to Mr. Hayes back in the day when Jazzmines was operating in Mpls. I have to say he was striking in appearance, but, above all he was a genuinely nice person. It is good to see someone with his notoriety that is grounded and humble. I told him I was a fan, and he was very talented, and he was very gracious about it. It was cool! I'm sure others have had this same experience meeting him! Looking forward to the interview, and thank you for it!

Thanks 4 the cool interview and the link!
Morris is not much of a talker huh??

Thanks for posting the link so I could hear Morris talk about old times. Which brought back many memories. Morris has always been a very cool laid back kind of guy who was very artistic back in the day and his art is very good so don't think that his art wasn't good but some teachers would praise some student who maybe were not as good as other but for some reason they would get all the acclaim that others actually deserved but they were the teachers and they made the decisions and gave out the grades as they saw fit. I truly hope to see the NPG soon cause a brother needs some new concert experiences soon. So I know I will be watching the Tonight Show this week!!! [Edited 6/14/08 6:12am]

Morris Day is Morris Hayes's alter-ego. He also goes by Electric Man, Jamie Starr, T.C. Ellis, Anna Fantastic, Mr. Feelgood, and occasionally is referred to as Geneva.

BK,U are soo wrong to do that to the younguns' on here. Morris Hayes is the keyboardist for Prince who has been in his band longer than any other member ever. He is from the south and a really great person to meet in person. One of the nicest people that I know in or out of the Prince world. Nothing to do with Morris Day at all. [Edited 6/14/08 6:11am]
