OMG! I have to share this with you... A few years ago I sent a letter and 2 of my SHEILA E CD inserts to her office in Studio City, CA hoping to get them autographed. Well, time went by and nothing came back. Then one night about 6 months later I got a phone call.
I was on the computer listening to New Editions "Count Me Out" and the caller asked for me, I said "This is me", she said her name was Sheila and I got a crazy sensation like chills and a flashback as a couple of nights before I watched "Krush Groove" and the voice of Sheila E went to to my head. So I went to the other room where it was quiet and said.. "Sheila Who?". She then said "Sheila E". Let me tell you, I freaked out! Her main reason for calling was to tell me sorry about the delay with my CD inserts but she just got back from touring with Prince (Musicology Tour). So she wanted to let me know they were on the way. We talked for a little bit about music and stuff and let me just say... if you ever write to a celebrity ALWAYS INCLUDE your PHONE NUMBER because you never know! That was an experience that I will NEVER forget. I am an 80s Music Junkie ! | |

Yes, she signed my "Glamorous Life" and "Romance 1600" CDs and then I sent her my DVD to "Krush Groove" and she signed that for me too.

1DirXtion, sheila's a grand musician & 2 personally call U, show's that she a caring sweet indiviual, she seems so humble as a person, I really dig the way she has kept her image, so clean and strong!
