OMG that was awesome!

At the Familly Jamm Patti had the lyrics on a piece of paper on the floor..... this is what she does when she ain't got them.... but who cares??

I have this whole Soul Train Awards tribute on an old video tape and came across it while cleaning one day. I LOVE this tribute to Prince more than anything I have seen because he was genuinely touched by it. I think hearing these beautiful, gifted sistas sing his songs moved him deeply. Also, the montage with clips of Miles Davis and others talking about him was really well put together. I remember he seemed to be holding back tears when he came out and the audience gave him the long, standing ovation. He looked so gorgeous in his lime green outfit and Troy Beyer was cute as a button giving him the award. Great moment.
