When she 1st came on the scene and we'd seen a picture of Mayte, my friends and I thought Prince was dating Chante Moore. Yes - I always thought they looked alike. I used to hold Chante Moore's first album cover up to pics of Mayte. The resemblence was uncanny. Most of it is in the eyes and eyebrows. | |

I didn't follow Prince in the 90's or the early part of the 00's, so I did not know anything about his wife...not her name or what she looked liked.
Well, around 2003 or so, someone posted a picture on a message board that I used to frequent of Tommy Lee with who I thought was Chante. I thought to myself that I would have never imagined Chante with Tommy Lee. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was Prince's ex-wife. 
So added me to the list of people that think they favor. I wonder if that's why Prince worked with Chante on the Emanicpation album.  | |
