WOW. I am reading this book and am surprised at how fab it is. Cant wait to go to bed early like a square with my ovaltine and hot water bottle to read this. It really is great. U feel like u are there at the beginning of his career. U hear all the details of how the band got started and princes fued with rick james. Even though its not really a book solely about prince. It is dez's experience of his time with prince. H e doesnt expose him or dog him out, he just tells it like it was in a postive way from his side and his journey. Even though, there is still a great insight into that time and i really do admire dez and especially Prince the more i read. He sounds like a really good guy and such fun. He talks of all the pranks prince used to do9HE WAS THE MAIN RINGLEADER) wHEN THEY WERE AT AIRPORTS IT WAS A RUNNING JOKE FOR PRINCE TO GO IN A WHEELCHAIR AND FOR THE REST OF THEM TO WHEEL HIM INTO THE MIDDLE OF AIRPORT AND LEAVE HIM, THEN HE WOULD PRETEND TO FALL OUT OF CHAIR WITH NOONE TO HELP HIM WHILE THE BAND HID AND LAUGHED.
