Nikka Costa 2 self-release next cd. Billboard Bits: Nikka Costa,
Nikka Costa February 08, 2008, 5:55 PM ET Nikka Costa says she'll self-release her next, as-yet-untitled album, due in late spring or early summer. The former Virgin artist has a new song, "Maybe Baby," running in promos for the NBC series "Lipstick Jungle." The new album will have a "deeper, more thoughtful" sound, the singer told Billboard on her way into the Black Eyed Peas' 4th Annual Peapod Foundation Benefit Concert in Los Angeles on Thursday (Feb. 7). How is Nikka Prince related?.... jeez she sang a song with him once..... Once.....She's her own artist not anyone's related or Protoge'  just sayin' | |

just sayin'Actually Prince has had a hand in a few of her songs with out taking credit. Also she is part of his 'circle'. She opens for him on occasion... she did the 3121 thing... etc So she isn't a protege per say.... but she is an 'associate' of his for sure. Hence forum title... 'associated artist' | |

I hadn't heard any of her music until this past month. I like her quite a bit; I'm looking forward to this. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
