The REAL Time album credits are all here: http://www.purplemusic.my..._time.html

It says Dez contributed songs to the first two Time albums, not Andre.

Im sorry my question and/or quote was directed to the REAL PRINCE FANS!!!The ones that know that Prince has not and WILL NOT give proper credit to most if not all of his ex-bandmates and projects. The ones that know that reading his liner notes you are only getting half of the story!!The ones that know that Prince gave ANDRE CYMONE a gold record(for the 1st TIME album)Because he did not give him his proper credit for his contributions on that album. Those were the people I was talking to!!! STAY IN YOUR LANE!!!!!

The link I posted has the writing credits NOT listed on the albums.

As much as I look forward to seeing a new album by the fellas; I worry if this is just Morris and the guys spouting off again. They have said on many occasions in the past that they had new music. Unfortunately, this is prob just more music we wont get to hear. I hope I'm wrong though..
Cuz ain't nobody bad...Like Me!!!!

Step away from the purple Kool-Aid. Those guys are all talented, and have long commercial track records to prove it. Hell, Jam and Lewis got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Prince is talented of course, but he isn't the only reason the band had success. Those guys contributed.

Oh... and btw, there are plenty of people who like The Time, but can barely stand Prince at all. In fact i would say that the majority of Time fans I come across are that way.

---
You need to put down the Time Kool-Aid. They are all talented but, P wrote all of their music and the whole concept seems to have sprung from his mind.
I think the band has enough talented people that they can make a go of it without him but give credit were credit is due.

They wrote "Fishnet", but I've always felt that Mr. Nelson had soemthing to do with that track secretly (Outside of The WB's control).

He was working with Morris and Jerome around 1989.. Everybody was planning for the reunion/ Graffiti Bridge..

The drum machine programmming is Jam & Lewis's style, but so was "Databank's".

None of the solo-work they collaborated-on for Morris, Jesse, or Janet (who supposedly sought "The Time sound" badly) sounded quite as "Time-ly" like "Fishnet".. That's why I feel that Prince was involved wiith that track somehow..

This new CD: I expect some Jam & Lewis/Jesse sounding, "rock-oriented" type of work like:

Skillet
Blondie
Sometimes I get Lonely (Moir)
Jungle Love
Crazay
I Want To Be Your Man.

That Time funk? It is all Prince, all-day long. He puts up a rock/pop front, whille the Time seemed more funky, but it is all in reverse. The Time members seem to produce more pop-rock, while Prince is way more funky..

Example:

The Walk = D.M.S.R....It's nearly the same song.

Jam & Lewis work seems way more slick, polished, and laid-back than Prince's.
They have more of a picturesque-deep sound landscape..

Jesse's is way more soul-pop, and hard rock.

Prince features the bass more..and his bass-play has more bottom.
