I really, really want to like it. And the truth is it's all right. But you're right about the Santana guitar. Also, Sheila effects a weird accent throughout the entire song, kind of like she did with "Paradise Gardens." It's a decent song, but I've got to admit, I was hoping for a lot more from these talented ladies.

I don't get the Prince-ly screaming that happens at the end of this song - maybe we need to hear the rest of the album or something. Also, I think the lyrics/voices could have had more prominence. Like efan said, tho, I really want to like it.

Musically, you can see they are all talented, but I'm not sure about the singing. Is she purposely sounding "flat," or is that some voice effects?
I think the "electricity" sound effect that plays during the lyrics about feeling the "electricity in my heart" (or whatever they are), cheapens the song up.

I believe it's a little of both. That's something that I feel has sadly fallen by the wayside - There doesn't seem to be any room in today's music scene for bedpan or effect. Today's "urban" music scene. has got to have every other note bent every which way, and that has gotten really BOOOORING.
