Just bought Shockadelica by Jesse Johnson. Am really impressed with about half, although it is padded out with quite a bit of cheesy 80s filler.
Standout tracks so far are the super-funky Burn You Up and She (I Can't Resist). How does this compare to his other two albums?

jesse johnsons review/1985- i think the funkiest shockadelica/1986 every shade of love/1988 - more poppy bare my naked soul/1996 - hendrix/kravitz rock - but very good(limited release) if you dont have jesse johnson's revue, get it, youre missing out. you can get the out of print on ebay for about 60 bocks, i have about 20 copies on vinyl cuz i usually see them for 3 bucks

Cool...
I really dig Do Yourself A Favour, Black In America (although it's a bit corny), She (I can't Resist), Burn You Up and the first two tracks. Would've been tighter as a six-track album like The Times if you ask me. Will definately check out Revue...
