I already know that Rick James didnt like Prince, but I always wondered what Rick James thought about Morris Day. Did they ever meet or speak on each other?

Yes,they did.Rick James and The Time actually toured together,several years ago.They appeared at one of those "Funk Fest" concerts.As far as I know,they got along well.

And why not? His beef was with Prince. Was this before Purple Rain or afterwards? If afterwards, Rick and everyone had totally humbled themselves before the musical tsunami of Prince! Rick was even beginning to dress like Prince...made a music video that was almost a blatant rip-off of the PR movie plot...so I can certainly see him having an.."if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude...
