Now, GaryMF, Efan, anyone, -- Who has info on Sheila and her band off the brief Sex Cymbal tour in '94(?)... I caught a slammin' show in support of the album at Oasis in San Jose, CA... Was it a national tour or just West Coast?... Were these performances before or after Sheila's injury?... Hypnotized by Sheila's playing that night, I cant recall any of the band members from that era... Anyone have info?? More importantly, has Sheila expressed any recent interest in releasing another funk/soul album?? I wish I had some info on the Sex Cymbal tour, but I don't. Maybe GaryMF does. I know the album was released in '91, and I don't think there was any national tour, so I'm guessing she was just playing a couple West Coast dates. Sex Cymbal was released after she had her collapsed lung. I used to have a videotape with her performances on Arsenio and on Rick Dees' Into the Night in support of the album, but I think they've been lost over the years. If I find them, I could tell you who was in her band for them. I know her band was incredibly tight on their performances of Lady Marmalade. That was a great song for her to do.

I remember around the time of Sex Cymbal there was some talk of her being in Japan or touring in Japan or something to do with that. And the UK was mentioned as well and I think this is around the time Ringo Starr went crazy trying to get her to collaborate with him. Does anyone else who was in Japan or the UK remember this? Genius is born, not made. Prince is a Genius. No question. RIP Legend.
