Another Great Wendy and Lisa Interview Wow there are quite few interviews and information (just love google) about Wendy and Lisa. I don't have time to put all info on here but here is a very good interview that was given by Heroes producer and director.

thanks ladygirl for the link.
i have friends on the production side of things and friends on the other side and for some reason i have a strong fear that if this strike continues 'heroes' is going to be a causality... i support the writers fight and hope that both sides have a meeting of the mind and work all of this out. The one good thing that will come of the strike is that we should FINALLY get a new W&L Album! Check out the Sidebar interview where they confirm their intention to finish a new record if the strike (which at the time was looming) happens & lingers.
Sidebar EP27 Podcast I will be happy when (1) The strike ends with writers getting what they deserve (2) Heroes starts production of Season 3 & the soundtrack album (with A W&L Heroes song as well as their cues) is released (3) We get more new Girl Bros music! Happy New Year Indeed!

Just started watching teh show..great. I was wondering why it had such INdian theme to the movie. Great!
Sad in a way to see the ladies who were a part of some of the best music in the past 25 years now seemingly proud of their involvement in doing a tv show score. That's probably not fair though...I mean, everyone pushing 50 begins thinking about retirement and $$. You have to pay the bills. Why else would Prince be playing private parties now for the rich, doing Superbowl, charging for anything he can (you remember when aftershows were for the lucky, not the rich:). I feel like saying - you played intimately with the man who created 'when doves cry' while you were all together. What are you doing with "HEROS"!!!

I dont see it as sad at all, and another point your missing here they both have children (Wendy has a son with her partner Lisa C. ANOTHER Lisa BTW, and Lisa Coleman just became a mom last year on Feb. 17th 2007 a girl. She announced that at a show she was going to be a mom) Lisa Coleman prefers to keep her life private as possible and who can blame her. I mean come on, would you want to at Prince's command and on tour with children wanting their parents and traveling endlessly. Im a parent myself and know this feeling too well. Use your head here! IMHO, I think it was a great move for both of them! [Edited 1/4/08 17:18pm] Smurf theme song-seriously how many fucking "La Las" can u fit into a dam song

I agree..touring the world with Prince is not something a dedicated parent can do. Your point is clear...and it's one i've made often. ALl of these people are pushing 50. All have families and surely are concerned with their future finances. So, whatever works for you. P is obviously doing what he needs to do and W&L should too.
Do you see my point at all? What if P started doing scores for movies or tv shows - you can see how that would appear to most as a fall from grace of sorts? Well, W&L in my opinion, are of the highest calibre and I always thought that they should have been huge on their own. I always thought that with a producer like Brian Eno or something, they could have had a great album. DOn't get me wrong, I loved all of their albums except for the debut and much of 'Girl Bros'. tx I dont see it as sad at all, and another point your missing here they both have children (Wendy has a son with her partner Lisa C. But their "fall from grace" was because they were fired/and or left Prince(that part is still debatable and between those people). I dont call it a "fall from grace", I call it a good career move. Prince hasnt "fell from grace" yet and he hasnt done it hard like the other band members. I think the lawsuits are just the beginning of his fall(stumble) and there is worse much worse to come. So him being a JW isnt beleivable in my book either. Or he wouldnt be suing people out the yin yang(a young mother for using one his songs to dance to), IMHO that is slime at the bottom of the barrel. And he dropped a few more notches form me respecting him at this point. Smurf theme song-seriously how many fucking "La Las" can u fit into a dam song

Well, I have to agree with that....I think it's terrible the way he's going forward suing everyone. If I could take him aside, I'd tell him to look around and look to see what in his life is so hollow that he finds it important to do these things.
ANyhow, as long as he puts out good stuff...I really don't care. IMHO, I think it was a great move for both of them! [Edited 1/4/08 17:18pm]

I see what your saying here.
