Mani unsuccessful? If you go on Mani's websites, either iapw.org or gamillah.com, you'll notice nothing has been done for years. I even wonder why those websites are still active.
What's up with that? Is social work not what she really wanted to do after all? What this just a way to get famous on behalf of a good action?  | |

I'm fairly certain the IAPW Foundation website is still active and so is Gamillah's. In fact, Gamillah just added a boutique section a month or so ago because Manuela announced it through myspace. (Proceeds support iapw.) Just because stuff isn't being broadcast all over the place doesn't mean nothing's happening. It wouldn't matter what she does or doesn't do--Mani can never win at the Org. If her websites & foundations were getting press or more "active" people would be bitching that she didn't do anything to deserve the attention, or that she's trading on Prince's name, etc. And if her foundations aren't constantly doing 'something' then she must just be using them to "get famous" or something. She's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. 
I never see the same scrutiny applied to Prince's websites/foundation. Besides, word on the street is that Prince's websites (foundation or fan) don't stay very active for long either, so I guess he's unsuccessful, too?

Why, it seems like just yesterday that I'd heard mention of an Unplugged project or something called Roadhouse Garden. But, well, nothing ever came of them...
Don't know why that popped into my head just now... I guess unexplained changes in plan or operation just don't seem to be the fairest gauge of a person's motives, sometimes. | |

how the fuck is she a gold digger? im sorry but im tired of people hate n on mani she started a charity for children all of the money goes toward them how is she benefit from that? IT'S FOR A GOOD CAUSE mani is a good person and so many people hate on her because they wish they could be her just like some peole are with mayte ( even though i can't stand her for my own reasons)if they didnt know she was a fan just like us they wouldnt say all the bad things about her she doesnt need prince for that she has won awards and has her own boutique line now that's doing really well( seen on her myspace page without prince help)she is very intelligent and yes a beautiful women unlike mayte big head ass used him for dance career what kind of hoe ass move is that? and tommy for music and she know she can't sing ( in tommy bio book how they met) and just because mayte wasnt a fan doesnt make it any better and everyone wants to say mani knew they were married but did you forget THEY HAD THEIR FUCKING MARRIAGE ANNULLED THE SAME YEAR!! and mayte was geting her swirve on too with some latin guy..... mani didnt care about the fame she just love prince for who he was and it's a shame they not together any more TEAM MANI!
