Right now im digging on some madhouse & the family with all those great horn and flute embelishments, my question is did Eric have any involvement in the compositions?

i've read he did write his own parts but was not involved in the composition of the songs on the family album. i don't know about madhouse.

i've found out that he wrote some of the things i thought prince had written,
eg rock hard in a funky place (horns) and mountains (horns instrumental break) and probably more.

just a brilliant musician. a great complement over prince's structures and grooves.
