What ever happen between Prince and Levi?

I would argue that he was one of the most influential band members that Prince had since Wendy and Lisa. What happened and what is he doing now?
Who ever said Prince has lost it - has lost it. The Kid's still got game!

Not sure. But Levi is a great musician on guitar and bass. Always enjoyed his work on Prince projects.

There was some tension going on between Prince and Levi and Tony in the early 90s because of some songwriting credits and I guess that´s when they went seperate ways.I liked Levi´s gutiar playing on some of those Diamonds and Pearls singles, like Get Some Solo, or Strollin, or Clockin the Jizz, that jazzy stuff but I am not sure whether it was really Levi or Prince on guitar.

Tony was lucky as hell. He had no talent whatsoever. He should of paid prince to be on those tracks he compltely ruined

There was a story floating around a few years ago about Prince pulling a gun on Levi but I'm not sure of the details or the validity of it.

Interesting because a rumor was also going around that P had accused Levi of stealing money.

From wikipedia.....

In October 1998, Seacer (along with Tony M.) filed a lawsuit against Prince, claiming that Prince hadn't shared royalties that Levi and Tony were owed for songs they had co-written for Prince's NPG Publishing, including "Sexy M.F." and "My Name Is Prince". In the end Mosely and Seacer settled for approximately $40,000 each (apparently, not even enough to pay their legal expenses), having sued Prince for $800,000.

There was also some tension when Levi began dating Karen Lee,the publicist for Warner Bros. Records.Needless to say,Prince didn't approve of this, since he was feuding with Warners at the time.

You can find an interview with Tony M on RealPrincestories.com. He seems to be doing okay.

Levi was heading up NPG records and got blocked at every turn trying to run it like a real record company from what I heard. I think that would get old fast.

lololol

That's must be a lie..

If Levi was already sending Prince to court over music, why would he just not file charges over this?

It's funny the way Prince was always putting his "friends" in charge of something that he himself was controlling lol For example,in the early 90s,he made Gilbert Davison (his former bodyguard!) the president of Paisley Park Records. These titles are meaningless because let's face it,Prince was the one calling all the shots.I can certainly understand Levi's frustration.
