hey does any1 out there have the Rhonda Smith Cd "Intellipop", is it any good? worth getting? i was gonna order it from the RS website!

It's a very good, consistent debut.

Not only is Rhonda's bass playing superb, but she also has an excellent voice. Very 'smoky' and seductive.

There are about 2 laid-back instrumentals and the other tracks are full songs. They vary in style between soul, blues, ballads and funk.

Its a cool set of songs, very atmospheric and of high quality. Some of the lyrics are very insightful and perceptive as well.

Overall, it's the most promising debut I've heard in years.
