I've Teched 4 Mike 4 about 10 years now ( never had the chance to set-up 4 John ). Both r Great drummers as well as very different. Mr. Bland's Musicianship is more diverse, Thus,90% of All P's studio sessions he calls Michael B. 4 drums & Sonny T. 4 Bass. Mr. Mirrorbestfriend, there's a Respect among Great Drummers, they don't have the mind set of " no one can beat me, I'll Wax the floor with his Ass ". That's the mind set of a Child and you'll never get very far n music or n life 4 that matter. I've Teched 4 a lot of Great Drummers ( Michael B., Little John, Gerald Hayward, ?uestLove, Calvin Rogers, Nissan, Gene Lake,Aaron Spears, 2 name just a few ) but 4 the last 2 years I've been teching 4 2 of the hottest Female drummers n the world, Nikki & Kim w/ Beyonce. Nikki is a beast, ask any of the cats I've named above or ask Billy Cobbham, Steve Gadd, Tony Roster or Dennis Chambers. Not being disrespectful Mr. Mirrorbestfriend, but how Great of a Drummer r u that I've never heard of you ?? What Endorsements do you have; Drums / Cymbals, Have u done any Instructional Videos, R your Sticks sold in Guitar Center; what Major Artist have u Toured with?? Respect. I Know 4 a Fact that Michael & John Respect each other as Humans first, then as Drummers. | |

The best are self critical and never satisfied but also complete control freaks. They have major issues personally; hendrix, zappa, miles davis, prince and so on. I'm talking about true geniuses. There is many stable talenetd musicians but NO stable, normal geniuses. | |
