ALEXANDER O' NEAL AND CHERELLE AT BB KINGS IN NEW YORK...WHAT A TRAVESTY! Last night attended the AlexanderO'Neal/Cherelle concert. The show was a joke to me in overall. Alexander O'Neal was so coked up last night it was ridiculous. They did not even have a live band, they song to the cds( it was like karoke night). I did not understand why they did not have a band, when their opening act had one.Cherelle loos great to be 50 years old,Alexander looked like a real crack head last night. I should have demanded my money back. Their voices was great but listening to them sing along with the record was just like karoke. It has been long time since they played New York may be they should stay away longer .I think he should keep performing in london(which he has a band there).I will never go see him again unless theer is a band. The opening act was a guy name Andre (who had a band and back up singers)he was great.Aleander was a walking sweatbox(which his sweat just hitme right in the face). Alex is too old for to being still doing those drugs .H eneeds rehab desperately.

Dude, I saw him last year in Minneapolis and he had a live band and it still sucked. I have never been more disappointed at a concert.

OMG, was it? Though I couldn't find any evidence of him performing in New York the night Sherri attended the concert, but I thought she was referring to Freddie Jackson. If it was Alexander O'Neal, gee I had no idea. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I'm a big Alex fan, but after hearing that live album last year I realized that seeing him in concert would pretty much suck.

All the critics love you....in New York .
I read here on the org that he also fell asleep during his concert in Sweden a couple of years ago. Too bad that some of these legendary artists tarnish their own legacy by doing shows when they´re clearly past their prime and no longer able to deliver a good show. I´m a big fan of his music and felt bad for him when I heard about the kidney transplant, maybe he wasn´t on drugs but having difficulties because of the organ transplant. Still, he shouldn´t do a show then and wait til he feels fit enough. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

He later went back to that city and made up for it and apologized for falling asleep the first time around. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! Yeah here in Minneapolis it was the SAME WAY he always be sweaty though. He walked out in stage with us too... Andre was good I admit. I liked him alot...they shudda kept that band for Cherrelle and Alex. They sung to their instrumentals and Cd's lol.... Yeah Last time Alex came he had a full badn n stuff. The only reason probably so is because the promoter couldnt pay for a band too. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.
