Angie Stone and Jill Jones 1990 Paisley Demo?

ON Jill Jones' My Space she has a discography which mentions a few thinsg I hadn't heard of...

1. Good Love - she had uncredited background vocals.
2. A demo with Angie Stone for Paisley is mentioned....does anyone know anything about this?

I knew about three tracks that leaked from Jill's 1990 Paisley Park album: "Flesh & Blood", "My Baby Knows How 2 Love Me" and "Boom Boom". I believe there was even a video made for "Boom Boom". Not sure about any Angie Stone involvement, though.

Probably sitting in the vault next to Sheila E's 4th album. I actually had a chance to ask Sheila about her unreleased Paisley Park album and if she thought it would ever see the light of day. She said it was up to Warner Bros. So I'm guessing Jill's second album suffered the same fate. Due to lackluster sales from the previous album Warner's just decided not to release it.

Back when Prince first started the NPG Music Club I had hoped this was the kind of content we could expect. I mean there's Jill's album, Sheila's album, the Margie Cox album, two versions of Madhouse 24, Tony LeMans was working on a second album, and I know of a handful of unreleased Mavis Staple tracks. Not to mention all of the unreleased Prince stuff. Oh well. Maybe some day. neutral
