Once in a lifetime? She had a garage sale in 1999 or 2,000. She sold all of her outfits from the Lovesexy tour and was autographing them. It would have been cool to get in on that.

Also, from http://www.sheilae.com: Pete "Pops" Escovedo, a prolific painter in his own right, will have a special select group of his original artwork for sale. This is a rare opportunity to purchase these exclusive, one of a kind, must-see items.

I went and met Sheila. She seemed very cool but very busy. There was mostly her clothes, shoes and drums for sale. Not a huge turnout, but I hope it did well. There was also a painting called SOUL SACRIFICE on the wall from 1988. Interesting title! The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018.
