I know Andre said he worked on an early version of feel for you and did vocal harmonies but this is nowhere near what others have done on subsequent albums with no mention. For Prince to mention these like this seems as though they did alot?

That's the MAIN reason Dre quit. P TOTALLY bit the music to Uptown from Dre, which many already know. And then cuz Dre quit and it pissed P off, he went and stole Do Me, Baby. The concept of The Time was Andre's. At first, P didn't even want to fuck with that. But when he saw Dre starting to put it together, then he jumped in, got the project signed to WB, which gave P all the control in the world.
