I was being sarcastic. Summertime Thang is basically The Latest Fashion but just with different words. Prince definitely kept the best version for himself though. The Time's track sounds like leftovers compared to the one on Graffiti Bridge.

'Pandemonium' would have worked better as a 6-song album. There are too many interludes and filler tracks.Imagine if this was the tracklist (the songs would be much longer): Pandemonium Jerkout Donald Trump (Black Version) It's Your World Sometimes I Get Lonely Chocolate That would have been a tigher, more focused Time album. Ummmm. nope. No Skillet? No Blondie? No dice. Why would you get rid of the best two songs on the disk? That would have been a tigher, more focused Time album. My Summertime Thang should've been on that list.. Donald Trump (Black Version)???

I've always considered this the least fave of mine of all the Time albums. But it really is not as bad as it seems. You can tell pretty much bac when this came out that the band was pretty much heading out the door. The title track, Jungle Love, and The Bird were all singles and all hits. If it wasn't for those songs, this album would be totally lost. Although, I always had a particular liking to "Chili Sauce". Not that the song was any good, just the fact that every time I heard it it will crack me up. IT'S SO FUNNY! But nonetheless, I think the biggest flaw with this album compared to the others is, THE CHEMISTRY. That's right. Think about it. Jimmy and Terry were fired by Prince. Monte Moir soon left thereafter. And with Jesse comteplating on leaving the joy and happiness and chemistry of the band were gone. That's why so many people love Pandemonium over Ice Cream Castles because the original players and chemistry were back intact. So that's my take on why this album is the least fave of The Time. Kinda makes you wonder why they only sung 2 songs in Purple Rain huh? Peace and be wild!
