I can understand that but why not leave it up the mediator to lock the thread or why don't you just say "already posted and here is the link." It's the extra comments that are always left (not just from you) that have made folks say "dang why do I bother?" Some folks only get to the Org a few times a week and if you posted a new picture on Monday and Jane Doe goes and posts it on Thursday (because she has been working and couldn't get the Org for a few days) folks jump down her throat. People get excited when they think they have some new photo or something new to share and they don't always have time to search page after page to see if it was posted already....they just want to share it with everyone.

So in a way you are taking some fun out of it. Me...I am cool. I'm the type of brotha that lets stuff roll ... but I have heard others say that they might have been hurt or felt bad because they thought they had something to share and folks made them feel small because it was already posted.
