Printablereally that age obsessed? If someone took photo of pretty much ANYone in that light it would not look great. The reality is- as you age there is more to be see in bad light. Period. End of story. Sheila looks GREAT. She's a beautiful woman. So is Monica Bellucci- but she's looking her age too. Heck- I'm looking my age! I bet everyone is and will continue till the lid drops on your coffin (or urn). So lighten up on the age obsession!!  | |

People of color do not stress out over getting older, she's a beautiful, talented woman without a doubt. It's not always the lighting or the photographer she's earned her lines, trust me. Love ya Sheila

But, again, she's still giving us body at 50   Hell, I sho can't go braless NOWHERE outside my house and I'm 35 (but still cute tho! The original photo looks over-sharpened to me, and it's emphasising every bit of grain in the shot, every wrinkle and line. I wouldn't put too much store by it.
I only figured out myself recently that she was 50-ish. Because I was trying to reconcile how she looked so GOOD these days, yet could have been playing on stage with Prince when I was still a kid. Good on you girl. You play great, you always seem to be having a good time, and from where I'm standing you appear to have a really big heart. (I flew from the UK for the Family Jamm event in LA. A very special evening.) One over-processed photo isn't going to change any of that. You go girl. | |
