How do we actually know that it is Levi? That may be Prince for all we know. Everyone knows that Prince's album credits are not necessarilly true. To answer your question, I believe that Levi played on a lot of stuff around 92 and 93. Especially on the side projects (Tevin Campbell, Patti Labelle, Louie Louie, Ingrid Chavez, etc). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I remember an interview where it said that levi actually played that solo using a playing card instead of a guitar pick... Plus, if you compare it to Prince's own jazzier solo's (Strollin', Blues in C), it definitely sounds different. [Edited 8/26/07 4:40am] | |

LOL @ poeple trying to give Prince credit for Levi's work. Everybody that's not a Prince fan thinks that Prince played the solo on Little Red Corvette, which is one of his most respected songs by non Prince fanbots but he did NOT. Levi is a gifted musician.
