Went to the Manchester gig last night (8th) - Prince and the Band were well funky.

I saw that there was an album on sale by Rhonda?

Anyone any views on it?

It's real laid back and mellow and makes great background music. I listen to it all the time.

It also features Sheila E, Kat, Mike Scott, and Kirky J. so it is almost like an unofficial NPG record with most of the songs written by Rhonda.

She's mos def my fave female bass playa, her bass playing ain't mean like Louis Johnson or Larry but does 4 me anyway.

I just entered her website and I love the song "I'm calling you 2 say goodbye". Oh man, she's the BEST RECENT Prince's bandmate, hope he stick with the sistah.

Anyway, 4 those who came 2 P's london concert. Was she one of "The band"??

How did Prince met her anyway??

BTW am I the only onw who think that she look a bit like Chaka Khan??
