I just went and googled Chelsea Rodgers, and at the top of the page I got the link to the www.chelsearodgers.com site that is apparently "coming soon" but when I scrolled to the bottom of the page there was a link to www.myspace.com/thesongstressprincess which apparently is a profile for Chelsea Rodgers-Nelson.....so.....and I'm sure this has probably been asked before but "what's up with that?"

My firewall at work won't actually let me access "myspace" so I haven't looked at the link to see if this is the same person, so can someone fill me in? Is Chelsea Rodgers-Nelson on "myspace" the very same Chelsea Rodgers that Prince is singing about? If so, can we now definitely assume that she's a blood relative of some decription to Prince, or has he gone and got himself a new wife?

Weird. It's not the same girl we know as Chelsea Rodgers. But she is a HUGE Prince fan.

She lists her location as "Paisley Park, Louisiana, United States". Age = 19. Going to TSU in Houston, majoring in music.

I think that's his illegimate(sp) daughter.
Why?
1. She gets to make her own symbol out of Prince's by adding a CR.
2. The song named after her is not about getting into her pants, ie. Mayte.
3. The Chelsea Rodgers lyrics "Don't chase anyones ghost" I think he means his ghost or fame.

I don't think #2 is the best reason for proving she is his child...I mean think about it...It wouldn't be in his best interest to write a song like that about a person who he is doing business with WHO is already involved with someone else.....and even if she WASNT involved this could be a strict business relationship because not every woman he's involved with may be attracted to him in that way and not every woman may be down to be his muse for that type of song

either way Prince may be alot of things but I think he is older, more mature, and has at least some sort of respect for another man's girl
