Ok all you detail-oriented folks: Was Mike Philly playing with the NPG during the Musicology Tour, and what about in Vegas? I'm going to see him next weekend at a jazz festival and I'm curious about when he had the opportunity to play with the purple one.

And where can I find out what album tracks he is playing on?

Yes, he was there for part of the Musicology tour but not all the dates. And he was also with P for all the Vegas shows as far as I know. At least he was there for all the ones I went to except maybe Empire Ballroom May of 2006. I don't think P had horns with him at that time. He's an awesome performer. He did a jazz tour for BMW last year. I woulda loved to see that as I haven't seen him do his own thing.

Ok---so how is Mike going to play at the Carolina Jazz Festival on Sunday, AND play with our man in London on the same day! I checked out his my space, and both gigs are listed.

I'll be ripped if he doesn't come my way!!!

MIKE WAS IN NC TONIGHT! Got to hear him play, and got to get my CD signed. Sorry, London . . . you had to do without tonight!
