Sounds too hard to believe but you wouldn't know what I'm talking about if you hadn't seen the TV show she did this on back in '87/'88. It was called Nature Boy and I have it recorded but wouldn't know how to put it on myspace. Nat King Cole first did it then Bowie and it's in the Moulin Rouge movie. Myspace has their versions on there but your not gonna find Vanity's. Her version is very sexy of course and probably one of her better vocals she ever did.

I would love to hear this.

Yeah I'd love to share but don't not how . It was when she appeared on Friday the 13th The Series. I believe it was on ABC station like Friday or Saturday night from 1987 to 1990. The title of that episode was called "Mesmer's Bauble" or something like that! She played a hot sexy singer named Angelica who had a geeky stalker that found that magic bauble necklace. He wore it to get his way to her, even killing off her manager! At the end he holds the necklace up to Vanity's face because he lead her back to his aprtment and said "I want to be you!" Then he "tunrs" into her. Well they begin to have sex on the floor and Vanity just "melts" into him! Then at her concert someone jerks the necklace off her neck and she deforms back into that geeky guy. IT was just too weird, you'd had to seen it. Vanity sings "Can You Kiss Me, Baby Undress Me" as it happens. But yeah the show starts out with Vanity singing Nature Boy.

Prince mention: The geeky stalker boy just so happens to work at a record store and on the front door they have a Prince Purple Rain poster. Well it looks like Prince and Vanity on his motorcycle, not Appy like the original picture. Is there such a picture that exists or where they all Appy and Prince? I wish I could dig it up again so I can watch it!

For all of you that have the Chiller Channel, this series is running Mon. thru Friday at 8 AM and 3 PM. I keep waiting for that special episode to come on but it hasn't yet. I'm beginning to think Vanity bought the rights to it and destroyed it such as she's said she's destroyed "everything Vanity" !
