Anyone see The Time on a Saturday Night Live repeat? ~∞*∞~
Anyone catch on NBC's early morning repeat of Saturday Night Live this past Saturday? George Steinbrenner was the host. They performed Jerk Out first then Chocolate promoting the Pandemonium album and the Grafitti Bridge movie in 1990. 
It was a fantastic performance, they were funny, they looked sharp, and not to mention it was the original line up of the band! Jerk out was cool with Morris and Jerome doing all the mirror stuff and Jesse killing on the guitar. Plus I love how Jimmy Jam dances with his keyboard. He never surrounds himsef with gear, llike that. They tore it up on Chocolate! It was a slightly faster version and midway through the song, they slowed it down and then kicked up the tempo again! Truly Funky! Jerome brought out a huge menu for Morris instead of the mirror and morris picked chicken, then Jerome brought around the food on a platter and placed it on a table and Morris started to dine as the band ended Chocolate! What was crazy was when Jerome as the band held the ending, did the splits and he actually held the split when he came back up half way!!! I thought he was held by strings man! Next time I see Jerome I'm going to ask him if he can still do that! Interesting to note that when they come back from the commercial breaks, Saturday Night Live usually shows a pic of the guests or the guest band, and there were like 2 or 3 different pics of The Time posing, and all of the members looking at their watches! damn, I KNOW that had to be good..
I saw (& taped) The Time when they did Arsenio around this same time, when it was the ORIGINAL group.. at 100%.. the 1 group that "scared" Prince... seriously: after I hit the lottery, I'm going to pay each member of the ORIGINAL group up to 1 million dollars each, to do 1 more full-length concert.. (OF COURSE I'll tape this, too) based on what I've heard, Jesse would probably be the hardest to get back in the fold, but again, for 1 million bucks, I doubt he'd say no.. I'll see you tonight..

Oh yeah!! I finally had the chance to record it. I love it!! THey are soo cool. Morris is too dang cool. The Band was tight. I was so happy to see the original Time members on stage that I got goose bumps!! Jimmy, Terry, Monte, Jesse, and JellyBean! Man that was awesome.. They are still my favorite band of all time.

I programed the video when that show was.
the performance was awsome,but right when morris says terry!!,and that funky breakdown with just drums & bass begin the videotape ends!!! 
I watched that over & over but I still have´nt seen the whole performance. | |
