I think he may be better on his own. This way when he gets into a relationship it may turn out better than before. There is a reason why people become exes. Usually its a sign that its not gonna work.

This is just me, but Mayte hooking up with Tommy seemed like a "rebound" boyfriend to piss off Prince. What the fuck is (or was) she doing with him? C'mon, that wasn't for real, but Tommy sho' nuff enjoyed being with such a beautiful girl!
I would have loved to see Prince and Mayte together forever because when I see interviews of him talking about her, his love seems genuine. However, I feel that Prince has not yet found the woman that can tame him.

And furthermore, no matter how much you want to make this out to be a case of Prince not being "mature", the bottom line is, he never put a gun to Mayte's head, or Anna's head, or any other woman's head. They made their choice, and it was indeed their choice to be with him. So don't you dare try to make them out to be innocent victims. They're not "girls at a playground" they were young women who were still mature enough to make up their mind about being in a relationship with an older man.
