Mayte has done a few films recently and is shooting 2 more currently, nothing Music wise, she has been doing some dancing and alot of photoshoots in a few spanish magazines. She is very approachable through her Myspace site, i have gotten alot of response from her on questions and things, just dont be dumb and ask stupid shit her personal life and Prince things, every now and then she mentions him, always in a positive light.

She looks great, but it seems as though she takes pictures for a living. Must be nice

She was on an episode of PSYCH. She had done a pretty decent job of acting. I was impressed.

I don't agree with objectification, even though I have done it in the past and do it a little nowadays out of non self awareness (until I catch myself doing it and evolve the idea of that person towards compassion). But there are degrees of objectification, and I'm sorry if it offends anyone on here, but I do find referring to ANYONE, no matter how they put themselves out, as a 'that', to be really humanely disrespectful.

I'm glad to see Mayte has gone into acting. She was recently in the movie Firehouse Dog.I hope we see more of her on the screen.

It's good that she is working and it would be nice to see her regularly in something -- not just surprise guest appearances here and there. And am I the only one who thinks she should put out another album? I mean, you have to admit, she'd be better than most of the crap that's out there now! Most of those girls can't sing or dance and only aspire to have the P sound or influence. Mayte is at least genuine and I think it would be interesting to see what she'd put out now that she is not connected to Prince.
