The last new music he recorded for commercial release came out in 1986: a duet with Jesse Johnson, of the Minneapolis group the Time, on Johnson's solo single "Crazay"—an acceptable but undistinguished slice of period shoulder-pad funk. the 'Shocadelica' album is excellent. The "Shockadelica" album is a very good album but my favorite is Jesse's first album. It's a lot colder like the classic Minneapolis/Prince style music. My favorite Jesse Johnson track is the B Side "Free World". Andy is a four letter word. | |

Cool! I never saw this video. I Love this song.... though my favorite JJ song is the B-side 12" Drive Yo' Cadillac.
