The Time? Most people don't realise that in 1981 Prince side project band called The Time, involved him writing all songs and recording all instruments and backing vocals on all four albums, I personally think some fantastic stuff is on these albums and it never gets spoke about as a prince album. This ngers me because everything you hear other than Morris Day is Prince which clearly makes them prince albums.

Yes, Prince did have a real huge involvement in The Time's projects/albums but he also had help from members of both his band, The Time, Vanity 6, and more. For the most part, it's Prince and Morris collaborating but there was some additional help as well. The songs were made for The Time and that's who the songs went to, The Time. So, NO! It should not be considered a Prince album. If so, their is alot more than where that came from.

The Time were great as a STAGE band & most of them later proved they were graet as producers or solo artists.
But apart from half of Pandemonium the Time albums r indeed Prince albums. As well as Jill Jones, Sheila E.'s 2 firsts, V6 & A6, Madhouse, etc...
