I was just wondering ... do you think that we'll ever see another morris day in this lifetime? Or was One Morris Day enough for this Century??

Please Morris can you write some New songs with Prince? Please?

All I know is that Morris was set for movie stardom with Purple Rain, and there are so many more good roles he could've taken. But unfortunately, he got pigeonholed into the Morris Day "cool" persona. But I just know that Morris is/was a good enough actor to take on roles of a different kind.

Ooooh, I SO agree with the idea of Morris going into acting. IMHO, he should have gone that route after the The Time thing fell through. He would make one hell of a comedic actor. He just naturally steals the show without even trying hard. Maybe he should ring up Spike Lee.

There was a pilot for Fox t.v. with him and Jerome and that would have been great. Look at the WB and Channel in N.Y. with all the cool shows now how come Morris and Jerome weren't doing something with that? They are Great and Natural Born Actors. It's a Waste. They should try to sell it again. What's up with that? And What Time Is It Already? What Gives??? Come On you had it going in 1985 what the Frig Happened?

morris day is a semi sidenote in prince's musical legacy...nothing more nothing less...

while i admire some of the songs that were products of his affiliation with prince...the music world is no greater or worse without him...

this is my un-purple perspective...

does anyone remember that sitcom (late 80's/early 90's?) he did with Jerome? he played a Hairdresser.I think it was called 'snips' but i'm not sure.

Yes,Snips was the Sitcom,but I Never saw it in N.Y. For Damn Sure Morris,Jerome and Vanity weren't given their due. I don't even think Prince got his real Due from the Industry. They Suck! Dick Clark Sucks the Most! Prince was way Better Than Michael and Dick Clark just Kisses the Jackson's Asses. Prince Damn well Deserved more American Music Awards in 1985. And more Grammy's Too! No Wonder Prince is Mad at Warners and Everybody. It Deserved more Recognition!

Actually, I think that show with Morris as the hairdresser back in the late 80's/early 90's was called "New Attitude". And if my memory serves me, Patti LaBelle was the star of the show. It was in syndication on BET a few years back.
