Possible new album from Wendy and Lisa???

Posted on behalf of Skeletonkee!

Possibly new album from Wendy and Lisa?

Wendy and Lisa have completed 4 new songs entitled: "Away We Go Away", "Lost Like Sand", "Over Easy" and "Theology". Could it be possible that they are working on a new album???

These could be song titles to a score they're working on.

I thought that too..but then, them titles dont sound like score theme titles...

and why would they use a doyle co-authored track? a friend emailed me a few months back telling me she ran into Wendy..Wendy hinted that a new album was a possibility...maybe they finally decided to do it...

Amen to that!!! And actually even Prince said that the last time he spoke to them they were working on a new album. Then we can start thinking live shows, and...I better not get too excited yet. pray

Okay, I guess I started this mess...so now I will explain:

Although, "Away We Go Away" was credited to Bramhall/Melvoin on the Jellycream album...ASCAP states that Wendy Melvoin is the sole author. There is a copy floating around with either Wendy or Susannah singing lead. I can't tell (Believe it or not)..after the "Killer" fiasco..I still say it is Wendy singing lead on that one.

"Lost Like Sand", "Over Easy" and "Theology" are from the movie "Loving Jezabel". However, remember that they re-released "This is the Life" after re-doing it for Dangerous Minds. It may be possible that we will hear the FULL versions on a new album.

Hopefully, full versions from the TV show Snoops will also be included, especially: "Perfect Stranger", "Secret Agent Man", "Stand By your Man" and the Nancy Sinatra re-do of "These Boots are Made for Walkin'" performed by Wendy with Gina Gershon.

Hopefully! Keep your fingers crossed!
