MOST- SHEILA E.
LEAST- THE SUPERSTARS THAT BECAME THE TIME. I DON'T THINK HE EXPECTED ANY OF THEM TO BECOME WHAT THEY WERE OUTSIDE OF HIM, ESPECIALLY JIMMY, TERRY & JESSE!!!!!

I think the original Time was the biggest threat to him of all his associates. I am sure there were shows were the Time turned it out better than Prince and the Revolution. I know me personally when I saw the Controvesy/1999 tour, I went to see the Time. Most of my friends that went to that concert went to see the time. Purple Rain was not out yet... Controvesy was the big hit, and 1999 ha been released a few weeks earlier. The Time was HOT! 777-9311, Gigilos get lonely too, Girl, Cool, The walk....My Stick, Get it Up, Wild and Loose were all big R&b hits and got MAJOR airplay every hour of every day on Black radio. Prince was a little more edgy for R&B fans, more rock etc than was part of that genre... yet the audiences that were targeted for this tour was the black audience... so the Time was a bigger draw in my opinion. I saw the Time with Roger troutman/ Zapp... so that should tell you something aobut the audience. Prince had to feel like "dang"... I wrote the stuff, told them how to play and sing it... and they are going to beat me??? [Edited 6/1/07 21:08pm] "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

Most People like Sheila E and the Leeds Brothers
Least Definitely Sinead o Connor who pissed him off when she was invited to his house for dinner, when she left he apparently siad things to her like "Show me some respect" 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

To me it was all about the females for Prince. So if a female was involved then Prince liked working with her. Sheila E., Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Vanity 6, Sheena Easton, Carmen Electra, Rosie Gaines, The Bangles. And that's just naming a few. Who he liked the least? My guess is, if it's an artist he wrote a song for and didn't do it again, then that person or persons is who he liked working the least with. Peace and be wild!
