If the women were as old as their late 30's, I could believe that they just "got too old looking"... but look at Mayte... look at Mani... they look as good as they did in their early 20's.... something is different however... they are more mature and knowing. The shyte that Prince could get away with without their understanding the real deal is not the case and instead of dealing with an older Mayte or Mani who understands the real deal... he just starts over with a new, younger (dumber) version. Nona's interview in the magazine and one she did on tv is very telling. The tv interview was when Prince changed his name... Nona was interviewed with her mom. Her mom kept calling Prince, "Prince" and Nona a very young girl would roll her eyes and correct her mom 'the artist, mom" and her mom would sort of chuckle and comply calling him "the artist". I remember thinking "his momma named him Prince, I'm gonna call him "Prince" and it looked like Nona's mom had that same attitude. But there was young, naive Nona... just complying, eager to please. Now look at her attitude years later in the magazine. She realizes that Prince was unstable and hurt her... Natalie Cole commiserated with her, noting how young Nona was then. "poor child" was the unspoken words. and it is true... Prince hooks up with very young girls, because they are easier to handle. They will speak and dress the way he wants them to.
