Anyone else think that Appalonia, Wendy, lisa and even the lovely susannah all aged pretty bad? Shelia E still looks fab but the others didn't quite follow the same path? Anyone else agree? Is there some story I don't know aka alcoholism, smoking, disease.....?

i think wendy looks fine. she just looks like a woman her age instead of like someone who signed a deal with the devil to stay young looking forever.

now, looking at that pic of dr. fink and bobby z from that celebration a few years ago, THERE'S some folks who aren't aging pretty. but even they don't look like they're aging poorly - they just look like a couple of chubby middle aged schmoes. but i guess their profession now is to be family men they have no reason to look like rock stars anymore.

I think Sheila E has had some work done especially around the eyes. Just my own theory.

they all look fine to me though...age appropriate.

Lisa just became a mommy on the 17th of Febuary. Do you have any idea what kind of changes the body goes through when your preggers?(prolly not!) It is chaos on a womans body at ANY age.

IMHO, I googled wendy and lisa recently at a award ceromony(2007) and they were on a panel as well for "Heros" and both looked great( Lisa had a mommy look to her already and glowing as well). They all look great for their age.

As for Prince, he ISNT 24 anymore. He is about to turn 50(?). Sure he was stunning when he was younger and I was a teenager(back in '82). But now I cant say the same.

NOONE ages gracefully, just wiser.

Saying he looks his age isn't a put down...it is what it is. The man is almost 49

I think Sheila had some eye work done. Not some over haul. She looks "refreshed".

this thread reads like someone got frustrated with a positive Revolution thread and decided this was how they could take out their frustration.

I was disappointed with recent pictures of Appolonia. She had plastic surgery and it's so obvious. She's a beautiful woman who didn't need any,

Honestly, I think Prince looked awesome until bout age 45, then in just a couple years, you started to see:
- a more transparent kind of skin.
- more wrinkles all over his face.
- different posture on certain pictures.

My ex-husband is 54 and looks much younger... sorry you guys...than Prince now.
I, myself look much older than my real age (33).

But hey, we are born unique. Appearance is not the most important thing. We love Prince for who he is and should all accept each other how we are :saint:

for a man who doesn't like to sleep, prince looks pretty good for pushing 50. the makeup doesn't hurt, either.

I have to agree. He looks very nice up close. I would say early 40s. People in their early 40s with melanin (yeah...I know he's "light-skinned") look great! "40 is the new 30" and so forth. I was pretty shocked at how good he looked the first time I was in his space, but then again I didn't look that hard. The second time I paid a little more attention.

Now I was really shocked at how great Sheilah E looks! WOW! I don't know about "work" being done. She looks normal, but better. I am hundred feet taller than her so I had a "bird's eye view" when we were talking.

Never seen that pic before He definitely looks his age there....not that it's a bad thing to look one's age I have more respect for celebrities who don't have alot of plastic surgery,trying desperately to delay the aging process.It only makes them look foolish.
