I just watched it. It's not terrible, but it isn't great either. Mayte was always rather boring to me, as is this video.
I still think the unreleased Gayle Chapman version of this song is the best. It just takes the song to a different place that no subsequent version was ever able to reach. I always have to listen to that version back-to-back. That version made me REALLY appreciate the song. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination... | |
