Bobby Z For some reason in the midst of this Prince revival I'm going through I've formed a slight obsession for drummer Bobby Z. Has anyone heard his solo CD that came out I think in 1989? Is it funky? Is it good? If it's anything like Sheila E or Jesse Johnson's material I'll have to check it out. Which official Prince concert videos does Bobby Z appear in? Or are there any official concert releases prior to Sign 'O the Times? ~*~the glamorous life~*~

Official - Prince and the Revolution Live, which you can find on video and laserdisc on Ebay. Sadly, that's about it.

He had a video for a song he did called "Lie By Lie" It wasn't bad. It was 80's synth pop.

I didn't like his CD. I even liked the Family's version of "River Run Dry" more than his version on this CD. But that is IMHO. It has been a while since I heard it, I will have to re-listen and try to give you a better review. "Always blessings, never losses......"
