Huh, vocal arrangement by Randy Petersen? Is this the same Eternity as Chaka Khan's Eternity:
Seems like an eternity since I've been in your arms A multitude of colorless hours pass I crave the life inside U, it keeps me from harm I only pray that it's not just another God [Chorus:] Eternity, I want 2 be with U 4 all eternity Darling U be, the only one 4 me together 4 eternity

I remember back in 1987,Sheena was having some problems with her 'No Sound But A Heart' album.I guess her record label didn't like it? It was never released in America and MCA quickly sent her back into the studio to make a "replacement album".They paired her up with commercial R&B producers, resulting in the cool dance/pop album 'The Lover In Me',released in late 1988.
Has anyone heard 'No Sound But A Heart'? What's wrong with it?

Has anyone heard 'No Sound But A Heart'? What's wrong with it? What happened was back in '87 just prior to NO SOUND BUT A HEART'S US release, her then record company EMI merged with Manhattan records to form EMI/Manhattan. In came new management who wasn't happy with the album as it was. Part of the reason was because the album's lead-off single "Eternity" was still-born on the charts. At the time Sheena was thought of as a very commercial artist and considered a "money maker" for the US division of the label. There were articles written in Billboard at the time about how EMI was "banking on banking on" her new album. When the lead-off single flopped. The new EMI/Manhattan management wanted her to make additional changes. Sheena's opinion was that she had spent a year and a half on the project and was through with it. She wanted the album released "as is" or she was going to leave the label, which is what she did. She quickly signed to MCA Records in 1988 and bounced back from her unattractive split with EMI/Manhattan. NO SOUND BUT A HEART was released in Canada and Japan in 1987. I bought the CD in '87 as an import. In 1999 the CD was released in the US through One-Way Records / EMI Special Markets. Tt was basically ballads and mid-tempos. A "love song" album. Some of the tracks were later recorded by other artists; "The Last To Know" was recorded by Celine Dion. "Still In Love" was recorded by Patti Labelle, and, of course, "Eternity" was recorded by Chaka Khan a year later.
