Tamar has posted the track "Milk & Honey", an updated version of the one that was slated 2 be released and produced by Prince in 2006. The difference I hear is record scratching and a slight echo effect.

Still rather surprised that the orginal "Milk & Honey" CD has not made the rounds yet. With all the different configurations it had, it must have made it's way in2 some hands at Universal.

Thanks 2 Dj7 4 the heads up on this.

I was just on her myspace page about an hour ago and noticed that it was on there. I am not quite sure how I feel about the song.

Sounds like a leftover track for Taja Seville.

I like it!!! Melody wise.

Afraid it would probably sound better on a voice like Taja than this great diva's voice. Something just doesn't go together well with this track and Tamar.

Not sure how I feel about Milk & Honey ... the OBVIOUS Prince background music might actually hurt it. Sounds very early 1990's. Her rap sounds like Eve IMO.

I don't like her other 2 "non-Prince" songs that are on MySpace. I'm sick of that "Beyonce" style of delivering lyrics.

I just stumbled across this on her MySpace page and came here to post. Nice enough, I guess. Presumably the original must be making the rounds somewhat for people to know this is an updated version.

I don't have Holla & Shout, but I have the Burn Lounge tracks as well as BLAB and this - slowly but surely we'll compile the album smile

Bigwillpreacher is right, though - sounds like a Taja Sevelle track.

I like it! It's definintley "Prince-a-fied", but that sound is coming back now, so I think it could have been a hit.
