you are so wrong.just because bobby z came in an era that was drum machine oriented doesn't mean he is not good.

No. Like I said. They don't get much better then Sheila E, Michael Bland and John. These are phenomenal drummers who will always have work. Kirk Johnson is a very good drummer. Not as good as the others I mentioned, But he's better then Bobby Z. The biggest strike against Bobby Z really isn't his fault. He was with the band at a time when Prince was using Drum machines. So in concert, All Bobby had to do was hit cymbal crashes. When this topic was discussed here months ago, Someone mentioned that Bobby did in fact play the acoustic set during the Parade tour, And did a very good job. Again, I'm not saying that Bobby Z SUCKS on drums. I'm just saying that his skill level isn't on par with the others.
