as someone pointed out, when Terry lifts his hands, you are just hearing Jesse playign the guitar part. at 2:39 you hear the actual bass LINE come up in with the popping.

the guitar part doesn't have as much popping. i never realized the guitar kinda doubles the bass but not exaclty. the guitar is playing more chordes in synchopation i think

See, that´s exactly what confused me...that popping guitar sound with that deep, bass-like sound. But then , after Cinister Cee´s post, I rewatched it again and again and paid closer attention to what was going on sonically/acustically, and he´s right, it´s just Jesse´s guitar and later Terry kicks in again.

Jesse's swagger and stage presence was very Prince-like.

Jesse was definitely one of the finest male Prince associates, as well as very talented.

nod
but I gather he had a bit of an attitude and not in a "good way" like Prince. lol I remember being really pissed off at him after some interview on a video show back in the day. However, he may have had good reason. shrug

anyway- great clip, thanks for posting it!
Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
