Da'Krash Or Kool Skool?? Well here we are again with another choice of who we like MOST! Jesse Johnson was crucial in the beginning for these 2 groups which was like a spin off of a spin off, Da'Krash was the ultra Rock & Funk outfit that was DAMN GOOD LIVE and was just plain talented group of guys.
Robert Jordan Lead & Backing voice Dee Dee Acoustic&Electric Guitar&Backing voice Bryan Tate Keys&Backing voice Gabriel Acevado Drums&Percussion&Backing voice (Hometown homeboy)STL of course Edgar Hinton Guitar&Keyboard bass and backing voice These guys were DA SHYT & Kool as FUCK! Kool Skool was the spin off of Da'Krash after things fell apart for the group when lead singer Robert Jordan was arrested for child molestation charges in Chicago and the band wanted to go on with out him hince forth Kool Skool they were cool but not as funky as Da'Krash with 2 new additions to the group are as follows. Dion Craig New Lead singer and Prime Minister of Love-Rap and turn tables. They had some funky numbers on the 2nd self titled cd Kool Skool, but it did'nt come close to the 1st, so make a choice and tell why you like!!!!!

Like you said Da' Krash was better over all, but Kool Skool had a couple of decent tunes

DaKrash was a better album. It gave you a more natural band sound. Heavy guitar, driving bass, vocals,( sing "Dance With Me" to a woman and watch her enjoyment)etc, not to mention the big hair. Kool Skool gave you a version of "New Jack Swing". A little rap, some drum machine beats, vocals, some coolness for the time.A tad bit dated. A very good album though.Don't get me wrong,I think both albums are really good. I still listen to both to this day. Both albums are a must have if you are a Jesse Johnson fan. Keep the discussion going.
